ABOUT ME
I am a graduate student in the Information and Library Science Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. This website was created as a part of my Directed Fieldwork Experience (DFW) for the Spring quarter of 2021.
My areas of focus in Library Science include Information Behavior in Research, Information/ Media Literacy, and K-8 Diversity in Literature. Being a part of the UW Bothell Library this quarter will allow me to develop my areas of interest further in my fieldwork and gain hands-on practical experience.

Before landing at the UW MLIS program, I have taught in K-8 schools in King and Snohomish Counties. I am a mom to two middle school-aged children.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, boating, cooking, knitting, and being with my family.
